Microcosm
This poster is the result of an idea that I really liked, but felt needed to be pushed further. I went into the project with a clear vision, but it seemed to lack atmosphere, polish and even a purpose. Expanding the composition was a great start, but I still felt like it needed more.
It all started with the idea of the solar system as a bunch of grapes (Pluto included) .
This is the original illustration. While I loved the idea, I was indifferent to the outcome. After taking some time away from it, I realized it needed more texture and contrast for a more polished look. The type design gave it more purpose.
